Are you semi retired or retired? Looking for something new to do? This is the time of your life to have some fun and think of your own interests! Perhaps you would like to meet new people, develop new interests/hobbies, or even improve/explore the interests/hobbies you already have. Perhaps you have a skill interest you would like to share with others. Why not come along to one of our groups or monthly meetings and find out more about the u3a (University of the Third Age) in Brechin. You can come along to any of our interest groups once or twice before you decide if it is for you or not. Take a look at our group's page and see what takes your fancy.
As a further introduction the u3a (The University of the Third Age) is a UK-wide movement which brings together people in their ‘third age’, which is the time after you have finished working full-time or raising your family and is purely for fun and pleasure (we have loads of laughs!) with no qualifications or degrees required! Our members are at the heart of the organisation where ‘learners teach and teachers learn’. Learning is its own reward! You can also get involved and help organize activities for yourself and others if that is something you would like to do.
